Working Principle - Newton’s Third Law of motion
Rubber being elastic has the capacity to store energy in it. This energy has to be initially provided to it for it to do something useful when we want it to. As this energy is because of the position of rubber, we may call it elastic potential energy.
Aim of this experiment is to demonstrate this capability of rubber.
