Data Deletion Policy ‒ Right to Erasure

The purpose of this web document is to clarify Labkafe.com’s policy about the rights of deletion of personal data of the users of our web site. The document explains what user data we store, and how the user can go about modifying or erasing it. Going forward, this shall be known as the “Data Deletion Policy” of Labkafe.

What is “Personal Data” and Why We Collect It

Personal Data, or Personally Identifiable Information (PII), is some information Labkafe.com collects while an user is utilizing the web site for personal usage such as creating a profile, shopping on our site, and posting reviews on our products on the product pages. We need this information to precisely identify a given user, and to link the interactions and content of the user to the user himself or herself.

Right of Erasure

According to the Information Technology Act 2000 (IT Act), Personal Data Protection Bill 2019 (PDP Bill), and Information Technology Rules 2011 (SPDI Rules) of the Government of India, we hereby acknowledge an uphold the personal right to preserve or erase the data relation to personal information of each and every user of the site www.labkafe.com. Going forward, this shall be known as the “Right to Erasure” of a user.

When Shall the Policy Apply

A given user can invoke his or her right to erasure of personal data on our site any time if the one of the following holds true:

• When the user successfully defends that Labkafe.com no longer needs to retain personal data of the user that was originally collected.
• When the user withdraws his or her consent to let us collect and process personal data.
• When the user’s personal data is processed unlawfully.
• When there is a legal obligation to erase the user’s personal data.

How to Delete Personal Data on Labkafe.com

A user can create any of the data as listed above on his or her own. However, to delete this data policy, a user must follow the steps below:

1. Please first collect and back up any information you would like to save before deleting your data.
2. Please send an email to with the following subject: “Please Delete My Profile”. Please clearly state your reason to do so.
3. A site administrator will contact you shortly to confirm your wish to invoke your right to erasure.
4. When confirmed from your side, the data shall remain live for 30 days from the date of application. You must use this time to complete all open transactions with our site.
5. Afterwards, we will securely delete all the data we have about you.

Please note that once done this process is irreversible. Once the data is erased there is no way to recover it by our office. However, if you wish, you can create a new profile with the same username and email as before, once this process is completed.
